You may call that "cheating" on the wife; however, men, at a certain stage, don't get the same erection with their long time partners. Once it gets to that level, they become depressed and frustrated. One way of overcoming such erectile dysfunctions is to try another woman. His manhood erections is always strong and can have multiple sexual rounds than with his partner. It doesn't really mean he's disrespecting his wife. He only wants to feel like a real man... it's about the joy of having strong, lasting erections!!!!

That says when a partner cheats, we are to forgive them and discus the issue after all heads are cool.
Mistakes can happen in relationships but we must remember that a person unwilling to change and grow is not worth keeping. Even God will forgive us for our mistakes but if you continue to take him granted he will cut off his relationship with you after some point.

But that should be contained and some women can handle it whilst others cannot. There are many men who have never cheated and one fling leaves them splattered. whilst some women do everything to their husbands including sleeping even with their own children and it is kept hush hush. There is no formula in a successful marriage. It depends on individuals and circumstances such as the environment, vulnerability and individual mental state of health. Akosua Hanson is right, so is AB Crentsil's wife. I dont blame any of them.

If A. B. Crentsil is pursuing a polygamous lifestyle, we must not rush to judgment without asking under what Custom and Faith he is doing so. If he has maintained his roots in our Ghanaian indigenous Culture, and his wife has accepted him as such, who are we to condemn them for doing so?

So long as it remains legal in Ghana for men to marry more than one wife, we should not claim to be the judges of any implied morality in polygamous relationships, whether pre- or post-nuptial.

The only fair angle to oppose the practice is at the corner of sharing diseases, or producing too many children a family cannot fully and well cater for.

I don't even think it is fair to discuss the acceptance of Mrs. Crentsil's marriage style in the Media the way these Journalists are doing. It insinuates that the guy is some evil, sinful womanizer, and the wife is only condoning his behavior.

That indirect indictment of the Crentsils in the Media is unfair and grossly patronizing.

I see a similar pontificating by the Conservative Evangelical Christians in the USA who have been faulting Hillary Clinton, and derailing her political career, for failing to divorce her Husband who eventually admitted having some peccadilloes with other women. Yet, these are the same Christians who claim to believe in forgiveness and proclaim the need to keep families together.
Such hypocrisy makes my blood churn!

How do these Journalists think of professed and legally bound monogamists in what might be considered the norm committing adultery, and resulting in divorce? Are they saying divorce after infidelity ought to be the norm? Or, the sheer act of staying loyal in a marriage is the standard? The many expensive and ostentatiously publicized Weddings soon fall apart for many reasons but mostly due to infidelity. Why wouldn't the Journalists deal with the problems precipitated by divorce, instead of getting on the case of Mrs. Crentsil's? After all, she has not appealed to anyone to make her marriage a model to be replicated by all couples.
