It is true that Chancellor Merkel has transformed Germany's image abroad but more needs to be done with relationship between Germany and Ghana.Trying to get a visa to any European country for any reason is like pulling your teeth without anesthesia or pain medication.China on the other hand is at least reasonable in granting Ghanaians access to their country to buy machines and seek other assistance.I wish Germany was doing that but unfortunately they are not.

Yes I have made arrangements tobe cremated after my death.My family members(especially the older ones) think I will change my mind as I get older and my younger kins think I am just crazy but my decision was not impulsive but informed by a painful experience with an Uncle.As a boy I watched him suffer the humiliation of poverty in sicknesses with his loyal wife and kids while the family ignored him.After his untimely death no expenses was spared to erect a massive funeral fit for a King.His widow and children however were promptly ignored after the funeral.How much sense does it make to lavish all that resources on a corpse.That is why I have chosen to deny them the opportunity to worship my corpse.They should spend the money helping to start up a farm or business for one of the younger ones.

Even if he was in chorkor and needed that insane amount to be transported to korle gonno why not bury him at chorkor . It's about time the government sources financial assistance to build a super monster crematorium in Accra to process all the dead . To save time, land , sanitation etc. you go to psi cemetery and old graves are dug up and resold to be used to bury new dead. The bloody place is full by 500% but still AMA are allowing people to bury their dead. Awudome is full but we still bury people. So why waste 68000 to worsen the case . The government should go back to Rawlings era where the family of dead persons are given under 2 weeks to bury. There should be no more grave burials until new land is allocated by government. Our politician today are so corrupt and money greedy that in a few years time l bet pay cemetery will be sold over for redevelopment into mansions for themselves.
