A conversation that transpired between former group members, Wutah Afriyie and Wutah Kobby on Pluzz FM Tuesday morning tells that the two are not coming together any moment from now.

Afriyie revealed on Pluzz FM that Wutah Kobby has failed as a solo act after they went their separate ways. The “Go Gaga” singer told Sammy Flex, host of the entertainment morning show that his former group mate wants their reunion because he did not succeed when the group Wutah collapsed.

To him, Kobby would have not comeback requesting for their reunion if he had succeeded as a solo musician.

“If he had succeeded when he went solo, do you think he would come back now asking us to join again? He is the one who left, I didn’t sack him. You leave your your wife and you realise the new one you married is not treating you well, you come back and you expect her to open her arms and welcome you?”

Reminiscing the struggles he went through in 2010 when Wutah collapsed, Afriyie described the situations as a disaster.

“When he (Kobby) left in 2010, it was a disaster. If i wasn’t strong, I would have been somewhere now. The people who know me will attest to this. I was unemployed because I didn’t have a career. From nowhere my career came to a halt and I had to pick it up from scratch. Richard Agyemang Berko would attest to what I’m saying. We built a new career so just when I’m beginning to be relevant on my own as Afriyie in the minds and in the hearts of the people, something like this pops up. No, if this is a game they are playing, I’m sorry is not going to work.”

Afriyie on the show made it clear that Wutah is not coming back due to the self-esteem of both artistes.

“If we are to go back to where we ended, it will be another disaster because listening to the two of us now, nothing has changed. The egos are still there so I don’t see this happening now.

I’ve told him several times that we need to really work on our egos. As it stands now, we don’t look like neither do we sound like we are willing and ready to come together.”

Kobby who was also on phone whilst Afriyie was making these allegations responded that he has no ego problem.

“I don’t have any ego problem. If he wants to work on his ego its cool because I’ve gone further to beg him. I have witnesses who know that I have even gone on my knees to beg my brother. I’ve told him several times that I’ve no problem with him” Kobby said.
