I know what it means to live with a female who has a misplaced sense of entitlement, misled by the mother, & not showing enough wisdom to read between the lines of the folly of that world view.

And yes, some women loudly claim they don't need a man & then turn around trying to entrap them with kids, but end up being dumped because they are very badly behaved. Being a loud mouthed person does not necessarily make one right!

Also, never forget that women give birth to sons who grow become men. How do you get it so wrong in child rearing since most males spend majority of their formative years with mothers (women)? See, the finger points right back at you.

I will not judge the young actress, but counsel that she gets out of this media baiting game which could come back to burn her badly. She's an adult now & can reach out to her biological father to ascertain the facts. The truth may shock her!

Some panelist on this platform should understand that her response is purely due to her emotions and perhaps the hard life she's being through, i know some of you will agree with that she must have seen her mother go through some struggles to care for her and this feeling will leave a bitter taste in any one's mouth. I may not completely share her response but I feel her pain. When parents decide to break up for some reason, the children are not responsible for this mishap so both parents have to make it their responsibility to care for these kids. Generally in our society the fathers tend to break away and leave the responsibility for the mother alone, please men admit your mistakes in this regard and maybe a better relationship could come out of this between the child, the mother, and the father. Her response is purely an emotional one.

My marriage ended about 15 years ago, as a result of interpersonal differences. The mother was given custody, but I was there for my 3 little children both emotionally and financially. Not once did I miss monthly child support payments, and I fully exercised my visitation rights and tried to take an active role in their upbringing. However, their mother had a winner-take-all mentality, hated me so much, and started to turn the children against me. She succeeded. Now the only relationship I have with my children is my monthly support payments, the children don’t want to see me. I love my children and I have tried so hard but to no avail to have a relationship with them. At a point you just have to give up in order to preserve yourself mentally and emotionally, in the hope that when as adults they wake up and exercise their own minds, you will be there for them.

Remember there's no law with promise attached to it than respect your parents (so that you will live longer on this planet ).

This matter has been discussed and hashed over and over, and each time, this woman tries to demonize the father.

Granted, the lady has indicated that the man abandoned her. I am almost certain that there may be parts of this story that she is not privy to, and may never find out.

While stating that the father doesn't even call her, she does not say if she has called him.

Sooner or later someone is going to regret not making contact, and my bet is that it is going to be this 'daughter'. If with the so-called fame and glory, the father has continued to shy away from her, there must be a reason. If he is ashamed, so be it, but I get the sense that we are not looking at a fair-weather father here. If we were, he would be clamoring for some credit where he has not earned any.

My advice to this young lady is she puts a stop to washing the dirty laundry in public and starts approaching the father. It is never too late to build a relationship. If the father has nothing to teach her, she may very well learn to grow and value relationships at a different level.

People with closed minds never learn anything, while those with open ones, are blessed with possibilities.

Surprises of positive nature, do exist.
