Don't hate him at all. He has done well but when objectively assessed he just doesn't measure up to international standards when it comes to performing live band. He can't sing. See for yourself in this clip with Morgan Herit ...

Don't be ridiculous there are dozens of artistes from Ghana who can sing better than him including Rocky Dawuni (Grammy nominee),Blitz The Ambassador, Samini, Efya and many others. Stop deluding yourself that artistes from Ghana like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are ever going to make a significant impact internationally. None of them can actually sing or dance. Why do you think they never do full tours internationally? Its just the odd show here and there and foreign promoters realise they are only capable of 3/4 songs mime/playback. But is not their fault that standards are so low. I blame the promoters and telcos. Playback artistes are cheap so they can chop more instead of putting on quality shows with artistes who can actually perform well with live band. Now if Stonebwoy had spent a few years actually learning how to sing properly...... who knows?
