Twi, like any other backward 3rd world village language hasn't got all the alphabetical characters on a normal standard keyboard. Apart from Swahili all the African languages are not necessary for normal human communication.

If it is true that Jackie was ten when she returned to her roots after having lived and schooled in Ghana consistently for 30 years, she could never had missed all the Twi plus the dialectical differences that pertains in her mother tongue."Oy3 kaniiba"

However, it would be most likely she could lose the transitional language she had acquired within the first 6 to ten years as a Canadian if she should return creating accent problems.

At this point in time, Jackie should be able to speak Twi with relative ease than she would with Canadian-English.
