    Its always fixed..Simon said last week that the final wont be same without them,,they are being strung along for entertainment value and viewing but not for singing talent..all they do is medleys of cover songs

    They performed their own song at the judges' house stage. The traditionn of this competition is contestants singing covers. You got to research before commenting on stuff.
