You see, there's no smoke without fire. Where are those who were saying in yesterday's publication that the publication was just somebody promoting a movie? We live in London and we know that there's some truth in all these publications about this movie. As for me, I'm only interested in watching it. The politicians can go kill themselves, I don't care! They say some pastors have now started becoming born again because of the movie and the pedigree of those who created it. Lol!

Lol @ Paa Kwesi! The movie is not yet out and pastors have already started getting born again? Funny! Anyway they'll have to. You see, I've always said that people with "voice that matter" are those who rule the world. It's not for no reason that these politicians seem to force themselves on this movie. They know what they stand to gain but the ordinary mind cannot understand. Others have made movies on fake pastors before but did it have any relevant impact? The people making this movie are not the normal producers and wannabe actors and actresses we have in Ghana. They are people with voice in the church, at the top level - pastors, intellectuals and so on. They are coming out boldly to address an issue that we all know but for some reason many people still fall victim to. I don't know what exactly is in the movie but for what is said by the actors in the trailer, I can see the fake pastors will have cause to worry, and some will surely start to change their way of doing things to look good before the movie comes out. Especially as they know the calibre of people making the movie. They surely know and understand what they are exposing in the movie. I have read information about the movie on their website and I will love to watch it. It is one thing to preach to a few congregation about corrupt practices by some pastors, and it is another thing making such exposition in the form of a movie for the masses to see. I wish the producers will make a deal with some TV station in Ghana so that we will all have the opportunity to watch it. I am happy it's being pioneered by a Ghanaian. My only concern is that I hope it will live up to expectation and not disappoint.

He wrote the supplentary English books Shitbongas Series that we were using. He was a master at almost all the subjects. Hes still looking young and cute. Dear me! I wish somebody could connect me to him. So happy to see him.

Why do you want to connect to him after all these years. I doubt he will even remember you. Remember he must have taught a lot of people, not just you. Unless you had a special relationship with him?

I wish I had. Lol. Just joking. He was not that type. He was a very disciplined man. I know some of the senior girls fancied him but he wasn't that kind of person. There were 2 of them that came to teach us. He was older than the science teacher but looked younger. Even when you're having a normal chatt with them during break time the old women teachers will be shouting at you to leave them alone. I didn't understand what their problem was. I just admired him because he was such a great teacher.

The SHITBONGAS stood for something inspirational to the students, if I remember correctly STUDYING HARD IS TEDIOUS BUT....ABSOLUTE SUCCESS. Can't remember what the O,N and G stood for. The meaning was at the back of the books. I gave my copies to my sister at Suhum SecTech when I finished School and she said her English teacher said the books used to be supplied to the School but since the writer travelled abroad, he believed another publisher, APPROACHERS or some other publisher had stolen the content of the books and was publishing it under a different name. I really want to watch the movie of this great man.

Yes it's him! Sheeeeiiiiii Mr Shitbongas! He was our teacher. Anthony, the O in SHITBONGAS stands for Obeying to study hard. The N stands for Normally. And the G stands for Generates. Add that to what you have already written and it completes the meaning of Shitbongas. I still remember the acronymn very well. When he was teaching us if he explains the thing very well and believes you should be able to answer the question when he asked and you couldn't, then he would smile and say Shitbongas! It became a slogan so whenever he asked a student a question and he or she was struggling to answer or unable to answer, as soon as Sir looked up in disappointment, the whole class would say with one chorus "Ohhhhhhhhhh" and just before he looked down again we would shout, "Shitbongas!" And he will be laughing with us. It was such fun! He made the class so lively and lessons so easy and enjoyable. Always advising us during lessons. He was the best teacher I have ever had.
