  He signed with Jay Z's Roc Nation April 2015. He has been collaborating with Kanye prior to the signing with Roc Nation.

Jamaicans still keep their dance hall/raga/reggae music. I wanted some Ghanaian music to play in my car and asked my brother to send me sons, and I had to put the CD somewhere? All the Ghanaians songs sound alike, hip life etc, they had the same beat, and it's was just not the typical hip life music I listened to 10-15 years ago. I decided to play some older ones and surprisingly some friends whom I call pseudo Ghanaians, because they weren't born here really loved them, I had to make copies for them, the so called current one was noise to their eyes, and these are people who listen to rap music. I even questioned them, and one of them said, (if I hear rap song, there is an individuality about the rapper) Please lets make do of what we have, we can change it because, "we are moving forward" but please don't get caught up so much that you loose YOU
