Freedom of expression, for some people, means others are not to be free. Unfortunately, we understand very well how we should enjoy our own freedoms (and human rights) but are oblivious of the fact that others also have their their freedoms and human rights to enjoy.
Taking pictures wherever, is a choice left to the individual to make. Of course if I don't want any other person to appear in my picture, and so I take it in an empty room, who can question me? That is my freedom of expression once it does not infringe on anybody's freedom. The only thing that reasonably or legitimately limits the enjoyment of our own rights and freedoms is the requirement not to endanger other people's rights. Looking at the Hon Oye Lithur's taking of pictures in an empty room, that surely does not endanger anybody's rights and freedoms and protesting it can only be due to either envy or mental incapacitation.
