Reggie can dance his tail off with the great dancers....in Ghana only a select few can rap or dance more than Reggie Rockstone. The moonwalk was not invented by Michael Jackson and if u live in the states or follow hip pop u will sure know this. Yes it was being done on soul train by Jeffery Daniels though It kinda originated from Detroit. Michael Jackson however mastered this dance move in way that only a few guys in the world can actually do it, Genuwine, Ne-Yo etc...We may not like the way Reggie is talking lately but guys it's all show business, "this is rap culture". That's how all this celebrities all over the work keep trending...Peace out!!

MJ clearly states that in his book, 'Moonwalk", way back in the latter 80's. He first saw black street kids doing it and asked them to show him how. He then continued to practice it and also added his own touches to it - such as putting his hand in his pocket while gliding backwards, and finishing on his tiptoes - and then it was then called the Moonwalk.

  I'm not sure if Reggie ever said that he invented the moonwalk, but I was there when Reggie indeed publicly performed a stunning version of it in Achimota School in 1980 or 1981, long before Michael Jackson also awed us with his interpretation of this dance move at the 25th Anniversary of Motown records in 1983.
  
  Just like Reggie, Michael Jackson quite likely got/polished this "signature" move along with several others - thanks to Jeffrey Daniels of Shalamar fame during the epic Soul Train appearance days or thereabout. As a member of Shalamar, Jeffrey Daniels also demonstrated the move during live video taped and television broadcast performances of quite sometime before MJ's legendary rendition of it, and is documented as having taught MJ many other "street" moves (as well as being on record as having worked as a choreographer for MJ).
  
  If I my memory is wrong, then perhaps Lilian and Gabe can correct me smile emoticon !!! For the record, back in the day - I was inspired to learn and perfect my version of the move by Reggie's, Jeffrey's and MJ's performances (as I saw them in that respective chronological order).
  
  I should know, after all in 1985, my version of the move helped me to attain the 3rd position in the International Dance Organization - World Dance Championships in Montecatini Terme, near Firenze on Italy.
