Acting is a craft that must be learned before practice. Many a time people jump in there with no training and in the hands of amateur directors situation gets bad with this talk of real kissing and stuff. Even porn movies are directed and acted, you just don't jump into bed and start having sex, you are told what to do at what time. Acting is a decent and noble profession and doesn't harm relationships if done right and understood properly.
