Yes, there is no reggae dance hall artiste in GH in the true genre of the music. They just rap in a pattoi over computerized produced hip hop beat. Their voice is auto-tuned. No wonder they cannot perform to a live audience. Real Dance hall has a scintillating reggae beat with solid baseline and overlayed with soothing , pure and natural voice doing the pattoi raps with fill-in dubs to catch attention. What they are doing is crap.

Samini and sarkodie's latest collabo comes near the real dancehall. I wish Stone bouy will lay his tracks on a solid reggae rythm. He would have been among the best in the world.

The thing is everybody has the kind of music they like. If you want to spend yours days dancing, fine. But some like to look at life from a serious perspective so we chose intellectual music. Be it hip hop or reggae Dancehall. The point kombolo is trying to make is that if you want to do music make sure it's positive and uplifting. This guy is a real guy not a new guy. He knows what he is talking about. There is a whole barrage of conscious youth out there who crave for positivity. The average listener don't know what they want. They just like what they Like. Flashy or real...you decide. Respect kojo kombolo. Keep making ghana and africa proud.

dancehall belong to Jamaicans and not Ghana. so don't expect anything good or better from the Ghanaian copycat immune deficiency syndrome (GCIDS) Mr Kombolo. Ghana used to rule Africa with Highlife music, things have change with our west African brothers, who have lost their originality. and has since abandoned highlife for for Nigeria. who has long rebranded it and make it their own thing. a national pride for us and African as a whole. maybe Patoranking or Cynthia Morgan can go and teach ur musician what African dancehall look like, so they can stop singing for themselves alone and make other Africans enjoy their dancehall and Jamaicans to appreciate it as well
