Journalists should do their homework before reporting. They need to include things like his age, marital status, number of children, etc

Nonsense. It's not about bringing him back. If age won't bring him back, will announcing his death bring him back? People must learn to take corrections and stop talking rubbish.

I just talked to my Dad and he said Stan Plange was a great guitarist with leadership qualities. Before joining Uhuru he played with Broadway Band together with Charlotte Dada, Leslie Tes' aunt of Kokomlemle, Accra and uncle Ebo Tayl0r and the great Sammy Abbot of Calabar, Nigeria who was based in Takoradi. After formation of Uhuru, uncle Stan became the band leader and toured England with the "big band" as they used to call Uhuru band back then. Uncle Stan will be in his middle or late seventies. The media has to inform us.
