this is very true indeed.....just even imagine how on earth did we allow a song virtually sang in PATUA, JAMAICAN LANGUAGE, win the overall award, ?....it was a good song alright but if we have dignity and pride as ghanaians we wont allow such a song to win the overall award when there were lots and lots of songs sang in local languages and local tunes like highlife which is ghana originated and known the whole world over......even if voters voted massively for bafira, it is our duty to ensure that original ghanaian song wins the ultimate award, but not a song in patua which is not even easy to sing by our citizens.......this man's song, yesu ye ebadze and lumba's song yentie obiaaa etc are a few of the local songs which deserved those awards if ghana is proud of who we are and who we want to be....
