Okomfo launches album

A galaxy of musical stars last weekend stormed the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi to support Okomfoo Kwaadee to launch his second album dubbed, “Metoaso” and here he electrifies his fans with his unique style.

The performance of the funky trio, K. K. Fosu, Cocoveli and the ubiquitous Batman also sent waves of excitement down the spines of the numerous fans who thronged the hall to catch the new Kwaadee flavour.

Not only did they sing well, their stage-craft and dressing were also colourful. The shows put up by grand masters, Obrafuo and Lord Kenya appeared too much for the fans who could not help but grab the clothes of the performers as they moved up and down the stage.

However, when the man himself, Okomfoo a.k.a. Jerry Anaba took his turn to perform, the crowd went hysterical and asked for encore. The organisers of the launch, Brain Cee Music Production, have hinted that the album will be relaunched in some regional capitals including Accra, very soon.

Other artistes who were on the bill include Osaman Kwaku, Nana Adwoa, Lazy Dog (Ancestez), K-wuo, D-Lawal, Obomofo, Klass One Teacher and Paa Dogo.
