IThe issue is deeper than imagined. Ghana is too heterogenous. We have so many poles of equality, we are so widely ethnically diverse and every group so very small, relatively. And every single group is proudly so. We have culture clashes, and have little regard for each other even within groups. Nigeria is quite different. we a huge tribal blocks, which are relatively more culturally cohesive even internally than Ghana's groups: Yoruba as a block, Ibos as a block and Hausa-Fulani as a block. Compare this to Ghana: among the Akans, as a block, the divisions are so wide - Akans vs the Akyems for instance. The north is even more complicated - too heterogeneous, the Dagomba are so separate from the Frafra's and between these two there is a wide chasm with the Kusasis or Sisalas or the Dagabas or the Wala. That's the confusion in Ghana is hard for us to have a strong cultural block that would help our entertainment industry.

There is something called stunted growth. It seems Ghana is physiologically stuck. We are not growing. How can kids be playing older people's roles when there a very competent older actors? OD IS SUPER CORRECT.

OD is right. In the US it is hardly do you see young people asked to play the role of Old Folks. Let Ghana earn from that and give the Old Folks roles to play for the know better than these "latter day saints". Not with a les ...
