For a kid at the time to conceive such a dumb self-destructive idea is pathetic. Probably he was a bastard street-kid without any adult mind around him.

That is the biggest bulls--t of the Century Mr Ambolley. Whatever your reasons for not attending are yours to know but if you want to educate the rest of us about indoctrination, Im afraid you are barking at the wrong tree. It can either be one of the following things:
1. You woefully failed the common entrance or its equivalent at that time
2. Your parents or guardians could not afford to sponsor you
3. Or you were damned too stupid to appreciate the usefulness or secondary education.
Whilst you refused to be inductrinated you found it appropriate to travel around the white man's world seeking fortune.
Please spare us your pathetic excuses and get on with it, for it is never too late to learn.

Rap music history for Ambulley.
1)James Brown 1963-64,I`m black`n`proud is a rap music.2)Sly and the family Stone 1964-65,Ya call me a nigga is a rap music.3)Manu d`Bango(Africa)1968-69,Soul Makossa is a rap music recorded for the first time by an African.
Do a proper research on rap music to educate yourself and stop that your crap on G.B.W.R on rap music.

Sekondi College (Sekco) , Fijai Secondary School, GSTS, TADISCO just to name a few schools in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropoplis. All these were not missionary schools so something tells me you were either not good academically or you just didn't like school.
There were also AXIM and TARKWA Secondary schools right on your door step. So there were no shortage of non-missionary schools you could have attended.
So Mr. Ambolley give credit to people and not take them for fools because this is also our country and we know when somebody is massaging the truth for his benefit.

I went to a Methodist Mission School, Mfantsipim, in the 1960s and was not indoctrinated in any significant way that would affect my life for ever. After my days at Mfantsipim I disappointed a lot of friends, colleagues, school mates and family when I chose music over a degree in Architecture at KNUST. My music life wasn't too disappointing. I had a lot of fun and played as a bass player for one of the greatest all time dance hall bands, the BISA GOMA. I decided to go back to school after the demise of the group and later changed the course of my life by devoting the rest of my entire life to Christ. This decision was not in any way influenced by any form of Christian indoctrination at Mfantsipim School. I'm a Christian of African descent and I'm very proud of that heritage. My aim is not to question Ambulley's claims of aversion to dogmatic indoctrination but I don't consider that as a good enough reason for skipping secondary school education especially at that point in time when it was so trendy and the right thing to do . It's obvious Secondary School education wasn't his priority at the time because he had other options that were private or public owned, free from sectarian dogma and equally good. Education is very important but it's not everything. There are men all over the world who had little or no education but were/have been able to make a huge impact in the cause of humanity.
