Every Ghanaian will definately feel insulted by Ellen DeGenneres unguarded joke of not finding it easy locating Ghana on the African map, rather than the insults and labelling her lesbian and all; her unfortunate gaffe should allow us to do a self assessments of who we are and we persive ourselves in the eyes of the world. Is it not funny we claim so many "first" in Africa to do everything and yet the rest of the world do not recognise or see those as any achievements to make noise about.?

How funny Allen DeGenneres could locate Africa but struggled to find its gateway which Ghana has always claimed to be. It tells a story of how Ghanaians deceptively believes Ghana is easily a recognised territory on the surface of the earth because of first to attain independence or football that most parts of developed world don't see as any means of national achievement either than for business and or entertainments. Allen DeGenneres insults probably will help in changing our mindset of self importance and also change our orientations to sought to achieve meaningful international recognitions rather than the cheap route of football achivements which most countries see largely as entertainment sports; anyway.
