Supporting or acting has no barriers to language. A Twi actor or actress simply act international and can be loved by international spectators whole will be thrilled to the Twi funny aspect of the words rather than the oxford English actors fabrications. There is nothing disgraceful if one can’t express her/his self in English to represent as seen as in Ghana. The more language the better but the talent of Kumasi Twi actors is the corner stone of real insight to entertain internationally. This is total discrimination to the Kumawood Twi actors. This not the first or last time it’s happening to them.

Efua Wajeto is right because kumasi movie stars are not recognized at the international level thus why they chose Jackie and Dumelo to represent Ghana. And to you Bill Asamoah if you want international recognition, then my advice to you is to blend your carrier with the English language movies and because your target audience are the market men and women in Kumasi, you are comfortable with what you are doing. Also take note that English is accepted every where and thus what has made Jackie and Dumelo who they are today and if you want to be like them, then please Mr Bill grow up and start appearing in the English movies and shut up, Thank you.

I bet you some of their movies are even better than their english speaking counterparts. Not because these Kumawood guys use the Twi language to act. Infact they can use any language at all but they have to act professionally. You dressed a young man to play the role of an elderly person when you can easily go in for an old man to play that role professionally, lil Win has to dance at all cost in all the movies even if the role do not call for that, only five or less people can act a movie and you call this a movie. They should just stop this concert and act professionally.

Since kumawood actors are calling themselves Kumasi actors, they must know that the nation is not looking at one region celebrity but rather a national celebrities hence John Dumelo and Jackie Appiah. If you think both kumawood and Ghallywood are one body,then who ever is picked, represent the both sides. This selfish behaviour should stop. Kumasi residence will always want to create division in everything. This inward and greedy attitude is too much with the kumasi people. Should any kumawood actor be picked, the next issue will be why that person and not this person. I don't think kumawood have any case here. This is national ground and not Ashantihene debar. God Bless Ghana.
