Ghanaians should do well and move away from celebrations of mediocrity, it doesn't help in promoting a genuine and truely international standard artist. The multiple ovations on Shatta Wale's emergence is just too overflogged and grossly overated. This is a young man who rose to prominence through brigandry largely encouraged by his youthful followers, to the detriment of real quality either than the heavily copy work he has engaged in over the period which most Ghanaians have lately accepted to be stardom. In all these vaguely accepted King of Dancehall, have Ghanaians shudder to compare his standard or quality with artists of his likes outside the shores of Ghana, and or whether he stands up to that ratings across the borders of Ghana, does he enjoys same acceptability and partronage outside Ghana,? Ghanaians should learn from other African cou tries that produce star artists who enjoy partronage worldwide. Enough of of this local champions celebrations
