Ghana forensic investigation is poor because with all the blood over the place, it is more likely than not the killer or killers left their blood in there. Fennec more likely defended himself by fighting with the killer or killers and a healthy person like Fennec might have injured the killer or killers if he was able to run around the house.
The washing tub blood is more likely that of the killer or killers who might have been injured who tried to clean themselves before leaving.
Did they check under the finger nails of Mr Fennec for tissue or blood under them? Believe me, Mr Fennec fought for his life and more likely scratched the killers or hit them and drew blood. If this case was to be in USA, They would have identified the blood of the killers and have them arrested or looking for them.

Sarpong you know the situation in Ghana yet you are comparing Ghana to almighty US. Do we have the database for criminals? Forensic investigation becomes easier as most criminals are profile in the advance countries.
I am expecting you to suggest a solution which aligns the Ghanaian situation.

I know we don't have database for criminals in Ghana but we lack basic intelligence training. Did we even collect blood samples from the crime scene?
If we collect blood samples from the crime scene, it will help investigators to find out if all the blood came from the victim. If we find out that the blood came from different people, then it will help you to eliminate suspects when you arrest them. If you find out the victim is a type A and you find a type A and O on the crime scene and you get a suspect with a type O blood, then you can do an advance DNA test on this suspect to see if his DNA marches with the blood collected at the crime scene.
Whilst a database of criminals and their DNA can help speed up crime investigation, it does not mean you should not do basic forensic investigation. Believe me, these investigators right on the bat assumed all the blood came from the victim which is more likely not true.
If we don't have criminals database, it does not mean we don't have common sense either

If you dont know something dont come public and say it. Do u know what the Forensic team has done so far? If the offender is a first timer, will his or her information be on your database in your room? Have u given the investigators the hint on any suspect? Or u want the Police to match the dna of the samples with everybody in Ghana? Talk is cheap indeed. You talk about blood types on crime scene as if we have one peculiar blood types for each person. If you travel to US or UK and sweep and clean toilets and come to Ghana u talk as if u are forensic expert. Let the police do their job.

You are an idiot. Did I say we have a blood type for each individual? Read what I wrote before exhibiting your illiteracy. Do you think even in advance countries they do DNA on each suspect with blood sample as an identifier? Before they do a DNA, they will do a blood type first because doing blood typing cost pennies. It will be foolhardy to to do a costly DNA on a suspect with blood A type when your suspect blood sample is type O, you douchebag.
Did you read from me about any database? A contributor talked about Ghana lacking database and I was just explaining how you can do forensic investigation even when you lack database.
What is this nonsense about first time offender when we are talking about having a suspect and doing DNA? We are not talking about fingerprints here or you heard the term first time offender and want to throw the term around without even knowing what it means?
Go and have a brain calibration or if you have a mental deficiency, take your psychosis medicine before being part of this discourse, you "Moronese ".

Case in point OJ Simpson-- the LAPD contaminated the blood samples though OJ left an enormous amount of his personal prints (DNA) at the crime scene.

Its so sad to hear just a cruel act by Fennec's killers. Truly its long over due in terms of our use of DNA finger prints to trace criminals. By now, Ghana police service should be having a pool of data concerning every citizen. The CSI movies that we have been watching on tv is not fictitious. For instance, the police service can contact the immigration service for fingerprints as well as the electoral commission because every person who applies for passport has his or her fingerprints captured into their database. Also the biometric machine used by the EC should be assessed for DNA fingerprints. Ghana is a fail republic with thick-headed institutional heads. Go to Fennec's house and his body and take the bloody samples and match it with those in the database. We can find the perpetrators if only we are serious.

A crime scene with blood all over different places in the house just tells you the victim fought with the killers or killer. What does the blood at the washing sink tells you?
It was not the victim who tried to wash the blood from himself when his first instinct is to save himself and not to wash the blood from himself.
It was the killer who cleaned himself from the blood of the victim or his own blood from fighting with the victim.
All they are trained to do is "buga buga" investigation where they beat people up to get false confessions.
