Ghanaian comedy depicts the characteristics of the average Ghanaian. Ghanaians in general do not have a sense of humor which leads to everyone being too serious. Is only in Ghana that to be a Comedian, you have to look like a clown or behave like one to be funny. Thats not a comedy, it is more less or less circus.

Recycling an old joke is not a problem if it can still make us laugh. Do we expect them to be saying new jokes always, everywhere they find themselves? Does a musician sing a song on a stage and never sings it on another? It's never easy to write jokes. What it takes to compose a music is same as what it takes to write a joke. I stand to be corrected.

You can still enjoy a good song even (and especially) if you know all the words and how it will end. It is hard to enjoy even a good joke when you know it and how it ends.

comedians are more creative than musicians, comedians have to create and design about hundred jokes and most of the time its not impressive, a musician on the other hand can tour the whole country with a single hit.

Remember his Magic Malt ad? Don't know what the sponsors saw...I'm criticizing objectively: play all his gigs he's done and compare it to Agya Koo from even the days of Concert Party and I bet you'll get your money's worth if you had paid to watch Agya Koo do stand-up..
Santo and Waterproof held the fort for decades before the former passed away and the latter obscured into the background..Ebenezer your piece was good but next time, don't include that wanna-be comedian..
