Little Richard was the originator of rock and roll and it was the music of black performers like Chuck Berry etc. Elvis Presley was the white face who sold it to white people. Can black people not attribute their culture and talent to white people. What has developed into rock music was originated by Jimi Hendrix. All contemporary music is black music and white musicians imitate in whatever way they can. Just get educated as the facts are everywhere.

How wrong can this chap be? A musician must be free to do his thang irrespective of whether he/she originates from a particular place. African-Americans did not limit their performances to the traditional African music of their ancestors in Africa but they did what they felt like doing. The whole world is always following suit from Jazz, Blues, Doo wop, Rock, Reggae, Soul, Funk, Hiphop etc. etc. and even South Koreans have their deriavation of black music they call K-pop....and this chap wants true Africans to deprive themselves of the most commercial genre in the world, so that they do not benefit from the rewards whiles the whole world does. My word to the chap is just do your thang and leave others alone to do their thang. No need to advice anyone...there is room for everyone!!! Its like a car manufacturer trying to advice others on what they should be producing.Put your money where your mouth is and leave others alone!!!
