Shatta Wale, Kwabena Kwabena, Samini and even recently female sensation Kaakie.
I enjoy this young woman's music - "Blackberry", "Too Much", "BodyFlame" to mention just a few.
The lyrics in "BodyFlame" goes like this
".... Me just com again(5x)
Buoy.... you've got the real game"
Then Samini in his husky, bad buoy voice goes
"You mus com again (5x)
Now can you imagine a 6 year old singing along to the song innocently while listening to it?
The Music is Ok for adults but with kids around, buoy, it is "grossly offensive"
There is another song, I cannot recal the artiste who sang it; it denigrates women.
I would appeal to MUSIGA to check this.
Celebrate sex, men's prowess but please let's think about kids listening to it these days.
I mean we cannot listen to gospel music all the time but pleeeeease tone the language down a bit.
