  Ambolley's Simigwa Do is older than 25 years because I had heard it being played somewhere else before I officially heard it on GBC 2 in 1972 during General I.K. Achampong's early years as Head of State.I was in Secondary School F2 then at Kokomlemle vacationing when I heard it on GBC 2,and I coulnd n't help but put my good James Brown's footwork at work and later on also heard it at Ampeso Night Club at T'adi,during inter collegiates at GSTS.Iwas also at the Trade Fair Center when in those days when Ambolley dished it out to the crowd.
