I must admit, these so called Twi movies from the Kumasi studios are absolutely disgusting.

there are several Hausa movies made in Kumasi and Accra. I know those in Tamale are also doing good making movies in Dagbani..

What the hell was the guy going on about anyways. Just because so many of you people are transplants in Accra or other parts of the country does not give your mumbo-jumbo Twi a pass for important and significant attributes of real civilized Ghanaian life.

I hate Twi movies, thank God I never seem to understand anything they say or do, unfortunately many Ghanaians from all parts of the nation intermingled during their college and university life so they tend to have assimilated in areas were Twi happens to be the language of the community they studied in. The irony is that almost every Ghanaian should be able to speak at least 2 distinctive Ghanaian languages fluently, but you will notice that some of these forest dwellers converge to the capital with an attitude, swearing that they will not speak Hausa, Ga, Ewe or any other Ghanaian language, but rather all others have to accommodate them. It is the only reason many people happen to speak Twi in Ghana, don't go around making belief that Twi is so polished, romantic or even intelligent enough for people to clamor over. Akans force people to know who they are. Nobody is ever forced to speak, study or understand English. People die trying to!!!

There are 1652 different languages in India, and only about 350 are the official languages, the rest have all died out in the last 50years,b'cos most of them are brian dead like some Ghanaians who prefer the foreign language ...

Almost all the India movies are made of the Hindi Language( But unlike Ghana the rest of the tribes don't complain)... why not english then so that all the Indian people will understand as most of the Ghanaians doing the english movies want us to believe or to turn to. Akans like the Indians will never ever change their language and culture for anything in this world, let alone waste your poor english on Ghallywood movies,no American or British will buy or waste his time to watch any of your 2/4 english movies.
