Video: Emelia Brobbey arrives amidst heroic airport welcome

Actress Emelia Brobbey who has been in the news for allegedly shoplifting in London touched down Ghana last night amidst heroic airport welcome. She was received by some of her colleagues in the movie industry, family members and the press.

Songs of victory were chanted as though she had won a gold medal or sort of. At a point the atmosphere at the airport seemed as if there was a movie scene been shot. Some media men were at the airport to get first hand information on the whole scandal that brewed sometime last week.

In her summation, she briefed the press saying that the bracelet accidentally fell into her baby carriage without knowing it until the alarm beeped when she was about leaving the shop, to signify that she had on her items that had not been paid for.

She said she explained to the security and even paid for it when the shop attendant asked if she wanted to keep the bracelet.

On why she was pursued by the police, she hinted that she was perceived to be in the country illegally after she had given address.
