THE COST MUST BE BOURNE BY THE REGIONAL GOVT N THE CENTRAL GOVT. ANYTIME A REGION/REGIONAL CAPITAL WANTS TO HOST A JOB FAIR, SEMINAR, TRADE SHOW ETC. JU HAVE THE CONVENTION CTR. THE CITY CAN ALSO RENT IT TO OTHER COMPANIES AND MAKE MONEY. THE CASH CAN GO TOWARDS CITY/REGIONAL PROJECTS.....GH, WAKE UP. ACCRA HAS THE NATIONAL THEATER....OTHER REGIONAL CAPITAL NEEDS SOMETHING SIMILAR.

  There are numerous issues facing Ghana and none of those issues include and or should include availability and abundance of event centers. To get from developing to emerging market nations Ghana has to solve just four things:
  1. Complete the hole-in-the-wall electricity generation and distribution system so Ghana can rely on a continuous supply of electricity not the interruptible crap we have.
  2. Complete out telecommunications systems to ensure every village, town, city and metro areas of Ghana are wired.
  3. Complete worthy rail and roadways that would allow the transportation of goods and people readily, and on time throughout Ghana. A government mass transit system with effective and efficient management team will go a long ways to help eliminate all the useless lorries and trucks that should not be allowed on Ghana's roads to carry goods and or humans.
  4. A government bureaucratic system that can pay its workers and its bills to other nations, collect taxes due, account for incoming revenues and a Ghana immigration system that would stop granting visas to foreigners who have shown repeatedly their contempt/disdain for Ghana. These are people who pretend to be potential investors but arrive on the shores of Ghana only to start digging the land with amateur tools to destroy land, pollute our waterways and air while the corrupted agencies throw their hands up in the air for fear of irritating countries of origin of these aliens.
  It is only when Ghana businesses and the government engines are running on all available cylinders that private citizens can build and operate "world class" venues for all of Ghana's so-called rich people to patronize the high prices venues to show off to each other. The average Ghanaian wants to be able to afford a home, a car, able to provide for the family and pay for medical treatments when needed. You and your kind can always live the caviar life on a beer salary in a third world country where people still die from malaria, elephantiasis, malnutrition and heat stroke while others take trips to foreign nations to hide their ill-gotten gain.

  Good idea; but let us consider an area outside the already chocke and unstructured Accra City Center and move to areas around Kwabenya and close to Aburi.
