you the elders in the industry must put your foot down against copy right in ghana. i think yourself, Daddy lumber, kojo antwi, amakye dede et al have to eradicate selfishness and think passion for the beauty of your hard work. i know about 10 djs in united kingdom who select songs of ghanaian artist and sell. when i comfronted three of them, they told me they work for illegal radios station and they don't get paid so that is how they make living.very soon there will be alot of problem in EUROPE WITHIN THE GHANAIN COMMUNITY CONCERNING THESE CRIMINALS.IN ALL I BLAME SOME SOME IGNORANT GHANAIAN MUSICIAN ESPECIALLY THE HIPLIFE BOYS AND GIRLS AND THE MUSIGA.

Ghana doesn't have a music industry to feed any artist. Ghanaians patronise music like they patronise free air. Ghanaians don't deserve good music because they hate to pay for music in ghana or abroad. They only like to brag ... read full comment

Naija musicians put in work and do shows all over Africa, they also travel abroad and have endorsement deals with major companies.
You have to be willing to work hard i Africa, its not just about collecting money passively when your song is played on the radio.....lol
There is money to be made right there in Africa, many Naija musicians actually returned to Nigeria to make it in the music business........take Dbanj and Don jazzy, Tiwa savage, Banky W.......it is from Africa that they are making their money.

In Denmark i only receive a note of breakdown of my music played on whatever radio station, and payments into my accounts.

Nobody pays a krone to a DJ to play his song on the radio.
It's time the Musician union of Ghana stops sleeping and get to work.
