You rather need brain examination. What was the consequences to those who engaged in polygamy. From Abraham to David and the rest, just mention one person who had peace even after the death of the man.

Whether some people like it or not, polygamy will never go always. If court system is used to suppress it, it will still be practised in disguise (one wife and multiple side chicks) which is wrong anyway.
