Actor and media personality Seth Kwame Dzokoto is believed to have made his last public appearance on September 8, 2026, when he attended the launch of The 70 Slate, a new film project by Sparrow Studios and OldFilm Productions.
The veteran actor was among the guests who gathered at Omanye Hall at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra for the unveiling of the project, which is being led by renowned Ghanaian filmmaker Shirley Frimpong-Manso.
Dzokoto’s appearance attracted attention as he had largely stayed out of the public eye in recent times.
His presence at the event offered fans and industry watchers a rare opportunity to see the actor, who is widely remembered for his role in the popular television series Efiewura.
However, he appeared noticeably different from how many people remembered him, sparking interest in his appearance.

The project brings together creative efforts aimed at presenting Ghana’s culture, experiences and stories through film.
Little did many know that Dzokoto’s appearance at the launch would reportedly be his last public outing.
A little over a month after the event, on October 22, 2026, the actor had reportedly died after collapsing during a radio discussion in Tarkwa.
According to reports, Dzokoto appeared as a panellist on the morning show of Owass FM in the early hours of Thursday when he collapsed during the programme.
He was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Tarkwa but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Dzokoto became a household name through his portrayal of Judge Koboo in Efiewura, where his comic performances and acting style earned him recognition among television audiences.
Beyond acting, he also built a career in broadcasting, working in radio and television and connecting with audiences through his media work.
He later ventured into politics and contested the Tarkwa-Nsuaem parliamentary seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2016 general elections.
