Law is the cheapest, unproductive, and overrated, profession in Ghana today. Market Women, roadside fitters and gutter cleaners are all going to law school, though they are already doing something more honorable and productive to the nation. We appeal to the youth to do engineering, farming, medicine, computers, etc and not be tempted into a noisy, showy, exploitative and unproductive law business.

You couldn't have said it any better. We glorify mediocrity. It is STEM, vocational and technical education that is driving the world, and yet we are stuck in that old colonial mentality.

Law is now donkomi. You can be anything and become a lawyer in Gh now. Whilst the world is chasing Science and engineering, Gh is now producing thousands of half baked lawyers every month.
