Popular Kumawood diminutive actor, Don Little, has shared a bizarre chapter from his childhood, recounting how he was allegedly whisked away by dwarves during a family visit to his father's hometown.

Speaking during an interview on the Atuu Show, the actor detailed how his parents were instructed to bring him to his father's hometown for traditional family functions.

According to Don Little, while he was staying there as a young child, an inexplicable incident occurred that left his family terrified.

"There was a time she had put me to bed and had stepped out to get something; when she returned, I wasn't anywhere to be found. So, she panicked and asked around. That was when she was told that I had been taken by dwarves and would be brought back. And true, they brought me back," Don Little recalled.

The actor noted that what began as a single incident quickly evolved into a regular occurrence throughout the duration of their stay, with the mystical entities repeatedly taking him to their realm.

"It became a regular thing. The dwarves would always come for me, take me to their land, play with me and feed me and bring me back," he stated.

He added that the phenomenon only ceased after his family completed their customary obligations and his mother relocated him away from the town.

Although he was too young at the time to comprehend what was happening, Don Little believes the extended time spent in the mystical realm left permanent marks on his development and physical growth.

"I had no idea of what was happening. I was so young then. But as I started growing, then my parents realized I wasn’t growing the normal way. Maybe it’s because of the time I had been spending with the dwarves," he said.

He further revealed that years later as a growing child, he experienced recurring sleepwalking-like episodes where he would unconsciously wander off toward the edge of local forests.

Despite the hurdles, Don Little has grown to be one of the most easily recognisable faces in Ghanaian cinema and beyond.
