Celebrated Ghanaian musician and dancer Slim Buster has sparked debate online after ranting during a live TikTok session.
In the video shared on X on September 8, 2026, Slim Buster expressed displeasure over what he described as disrespect from some online users, insisting that no musician in Ghana can be compared to him.
According to Slim Buster, he was well established in the music industry before the likes of Shatta Wale started making music.

"When I started, Shatta Wale's mother hadn't even given birth to him. His mother is my size, yet you fools are comparing me to those people. Or is it because they come and claim they have money? Having money, my foot.
"Or is it because we don't talk? If you see my payslip, you will be amazed. I don't play shows because they can't pay me. That is why I decided to stay on my side. Let me warn you for the last time. If you insult me and I don't reply to you, don't think I am afraid of you, because I am the most handsome guy among all the musicians," he said.

Slim Buster further warned critics not to mistake his silence for fear, adding that he chooses not to perform at shows because promoters cannot afford his fees.
"I have a very good job that even pays me better than music because I don't want someone coming to tell me he would give me £500. I get annoyed when I hear that, but sometimes I do it for the person.
"I can get thousands of pounds when I work without anybody condemning me... Foolish people," he added.
