The daughter of late Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Ghanaians for their immense support during the burial of her mother.

In a video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on August 12, 2026, the late actress’s first daughter noted that the funeral ceremony would not have been complete without the support of Ghanaians.

In the less-than-one-minute clip, the daughter, who was seen together with her father, said the love Ghanaians showed their family would never go unnoticed.

“Hello Ghana, on behalf of our family, we want to say a big thank you so much for being there for our mum's funeral. Your love, kindness, and support meant more to us than words can express,” she said.

She additionally noted that although it was a difficult moment for the family to lay their beloved mother to rest, the support they received from Ghanaians brought them comfort and strength.

“It was a very difficult time, but having you by our side brought us comfort and strength. We truly appreciate everything you did for us and will always be grateful. May God bless you abundantly,” she added.

Ghanaian actress and businesswoman Beverly Afaglo Baah passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 42 after battling cancer. Her death occurred just four days before her 43rd birthday.

The late actress, who was laid to rest on August 8, 2026, is survived by Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah (popularly known as Choirmaster of the highlife/hiplife music group Praye) and their two daughters.

The funeral service brought together family members, friends, and leading figures from Ghana's film, creative arts, and music industries who gathered to pay their final respects.
