Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has visited an injured fan in London following an unfortunate incident at his Shattafest concert.

The musician made a personal visit to the fan, identified as Abraham, at his home in London to check on his recovery and offer words of encouragement.

During the visit, Shatta Wale presented Abraham with several gifts, including a gift card, Hotwav phones, a bouquet of flowers, cash and other items.

The artiste also allowed the young fan to sing one of his songs during the visit, creating a light-hearted moment and cheering him up.

Speaking during the visit, Shatta Wale said he was touched by the young fan’s love for his music, particularly because Abraham lives in London but was able to sing his songs with such passion.

“Most of the time, when I see that someone loves me that much, the connection is there. I was asking myself, how can a child from London sing my songs like that?” he said.

Shatta Wale stated that Abraham’s choice of song also made the moment particularly meaningful to him.

“His choice of song shows he’s really seen his prophecy come true. I just want to say I’m so sorry for whatever happened,” he shared.

The musician further promised to extend his support to Abraham and his family whenever he is in London.

“With the way I’m welcomed here, I can’t just leave like that. Anytime I will be having a show in London, you and the whole family will get free tickets,” Shatta Wale noted.

He explained that although he initially wondered what he could do to support the injured fan, he realised that his presence and continued relationship with the family could mean more than simply giving money.

“When I was coming, I was wondering what to actually do for him, but I realised that there are some things that happen and we can’t just give out money,” he said.

Shatta Wale then assured the family that he would consider their home his own whenever he visits London.

He also promised to keep in touch with the family and ensure they are invited to his future London shows.

“From now onwards, I will take this house as my house. Anytime I come to London, I will pass by and eat. We will also take contacts, so anytime you hear I have a show in London, you and the family can just show up,” he added.
