For example, the husband may sincerely believe that he is carrying 50% of the load in the marriage only to discover that his wife thinks he is only contributing 20% or 30%! IF THIS FUNDAMENTAL FACT IS IGNORED IT CAN LEAD TO FRICTION, A BUILD-UP OF RESENTMENT LEADING TO FIGHTS, HOSTILITY AND SADLY IN MANY CASES THE EVENTUAL COLLAPSE OF THE MARRIAGE.
