Award-winning Ghanaian broadcaster and social media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has asserted that the younger generation should not be expected to endure the same hardships their predecessors faced.
Speaking in a video shared on social media on August 5, 2026, Nana Aba praised Gen Zs for their boldness, fearlessness, and willingness to take risks, describing those qualities as some of the reasons she admires them.
According to her, having a son who belongs to Generation Z has given her a deeper understanding of the mindset of young people today.
"I like Gen Zs because I have a Gen Z son. I have a better understanding of them, and what I like the most about them is that they are risk takers. They're fearless, unlike our generation, which is more risk-averse," she said.
She acknowledged that many people criticize Gen Z for wanting to achieve financial success quickly but insisted that such criticism is unfair.

"I know people have issues with them because they think Gen Zs are in a hurry to make money immediately, and they think they have to take their time. Well, we took our time, and the reason we've come ahead of them is that it's our responsibility to make life better for them," she stated.
Nana Aba stressed that older generations have a duty to create opportunities that make life easier for those coming after them rather than expecting them to repeat the same struggles.
"The fact that you struggled to get an A doesn't mean Gen Z must struggle to get A. You got an A by struggling, but your job is to make it easy for Gen Z to get there. I'm not only talking about financial gains. It's everything," she explained.
The broadcaster further revealed that she has no negative feelings toward Generation Z, adding that their confidence and willingness to challenge older people have become a source of personal growth.
"There's nothing about them I hate. They also remind me of the things I could have done better when I was their age. They align you and they put you on your toes," she added.
