Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has named Black Sherif as the Ghanaian artiste he is currently enjoying the most, describing the award-winning musician as one of the standout acts on his latest album.

Speaking during a live stream with content creator Carter Efe, popularly known as Machala, Davido was asked which Ghanaian artiste he likes the most.

Responding to the question, the singer acknowledged his close relationship with Stonebwoy but revealed that Black Sherif is the artiste he is currently “rocking with.”

“Black Sherif. He’s on my album, Black Sherif man. Obviously, Stonebwoy is my very good friend; we are basically family but right now I am rocking with Black Sherif,” he said.

Davido also praised Black Sherif’s contribution to his recently released album, highlighting their collaboration, Amazing Grace.

According to the Nigerian star, the song has become a major success in Ghana.

“Amazing Grace, the song is number one in Ghana now. When we were doing my album listening, that’s what I watched first,” Davido added.
