Entertainment pundit MC Yaa Yeboah has claimed that Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale is unlikely to use his personal funds to organise a concert at London's O2 Arena.

According to her, the artiste has consistently maintained that he sees no need to invest his own money in staging shows outside Ghana, preferring to perform when promoters or investors finance such events.

Speaking during a discussion with entertainment journalist Vida Adutwumwaa on August 4, 2026, MC Yaa Yeboah questioned the expectation that Shatta Wale should independently book the iconic venue.

"Will Shatta use his personal money to organize a show in London? He will never do it. I dare him to go and book O2 Arena with his own money for his show," she said.

She explained that Shatta Wale has, on several occasions, expressed his belief that organising international concerts with his own resources does not align with his priorities.

"The reason is, he has said it himself that he doesn't see the need in doing those things. It doesn't make sense to him to organize a show abroad. Even with music videos, he wouldn't shoot his music video outside the country. I don't know if he would one day change his mind on that because he has said it several times," she stated.

MC Yaa Yeboah further noted that the dancehall artiste is, however, willing to perform at international venues when an event is financed by promoters or investors.

"One thing about Shatta is that, if the show has to do with someone who's organising the event, he will mix himself up with the person. When he gets an investor who would tell him to book O2 for his show, he would gladly do it but for him to use his own money to book O2 Arena for his show, he will never do it," she added.
