Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale has raised fresh allegations against the organisers of the Party in the Park in the United Kingdom.

He accused them of compromising safety by allowing vendors to carry gas cylinders and cooking equipment into the venue.

According to the musician, the organisers misled fans and vendors about the nature of the event, resulting in arrangements that he believes could have posed a serious safety risk.

Speaking during a TikTok Live on August 2, 2026, Shatta Wale claimed some vendors arrived at the venue with gas cylinders, cooking oil and other equipment to prepare food during the event.

"Show that we're doing, someone brought a gas cylinder. The people brought that because you lied to them that it was Party in the Park. You lied to the fans, the council and the people who organised the event," he alleged.

The dancehall artiste questioned why vendors had been allowed to prepare food at what he described as his show, insisting such activities could have resulted in a dangerous incident.

"Did they think I'm a caterer? You would see someone carrying oil, and when you ask them, they would say they're to fry yam at the show. You're coming to set up fire at my show. What kind of life is that? Do you want the cylinder to blast at my show?" he asked.

Shatta Wale further accused some event organisers of being dishonest with Ghanaian musicians, claiming he refused to tolerate practices that he believes put lives at risk.

"You people lie to Ghanaian musicians a lot. I'm different from the Ghanaian musicians you guys deal with. Why don't you tell the people the truth?" he stated.

He also alleged that the organisers failed to properly communicate the nature of the event to the relevant authorities and partners.

"The white people with their polished brains that help black men to grow, why didn't you tell them about the type of show you were organising? The calls they were making to tell you that the artiste you are bringing is a high-security-risk artiste, but you didn't listen to them because you see me as the other artistes," he added.
