Actress and entrepreneur Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has disclosed that she hopes her future marriage will mirror that of legendary Kumawood actress Kyeiwaa, stating that she wants a lasting union and has no desire to experience divorce.
Speaking in an interview on Aluta FM, Akuapem Poloo said one of her biggest prayers is to get married at the right time, adding that although she is ready for marriage now, she is not under pressure to force it.
"I never want to go through a divorce after getting married. One of my biggest prayers to God is that, at the age I am now, if I get the opportunity to marry, I will. But I'm not forcing it. Whenever the right time comes, I'll be okay with it," she said.

Akuapem Poloo explained that she draws inspiration from Kyeiwaa, who got married later in life in the United States.
According to her, Kyeiwaa's marriage proves that finding a life partner is not determined by age, but by God's timing.
She believes that when people marry at a more mature stage in life, they are often emotionally, financially, and socially prepared for the responsibilities of marriage, increasing the chances of a lasting union rather than a divorce.
"I see the legendary Kyeiwaa as an inspiration. She got married later in life after living her life, and that shows marriage isn't about age. If God has destined someone to be your partner, it doesn't matter how old you are, even if you've lost your teeth because of old age. When the time is right, it will happen," she noted.
The actress added that while she is not in a hurry to get married, she is ready to settle down if the opportunity presents itself.
She noted that marriage is something many women desire, but stressed that it should happen at the right time.
"If the opportunity comes now, I will get married because I know I am mature enough. Looking at everything I have been through, I have been able to hold myself together. Have you ever seen me bring my personal issues to social media before? That doesn't mean I'm not going through anything. I'm facing a lot in my relationships," she added.
