'The relationship has ended' – Asantewaa confirms split from Armani

Ghanaian content creator and influencer Asantewaa has confirmed that her relationship with musician cum socialite, AMG Armani, has come to an end.

She also opened up about the painful breakup and the fallout with her brother during a surprise visit by rapper Okyeame Kwame to her home.

In a video shared on social media on July 19, 2026, Okyeame Kwame expressed his concern and assured her of his family's support.

"I heard that you're heartbroken. My wife and I are big fans, and we love you so much. We decided to come and see how you're doing. That's why I paid you a surprise visit. Is it really true that you're broken?" Okyeame Kwame asked.

Responding, Asantewaa confirmed that her relationship with AMG Armani had indeed ended, adding that she had also lost her relationship with a sibling amid the fallout.

"I don't know where to start from, but all I can say is that the relationship has ended. I lost a partner and my relationship with a sibling as well," she said.

She explained that her recent emotional livestream, during which she broke down in tears, was intended to clarify the status of her relationship and address comments made by her brother.

"I've been wanting to clear something, so I went live, and I got so emotional. I had a motive for going live a few days ago. I wanted to clarify that I've ended things with AMG Armani and, for whatever reason, my brother stepped in. I wanted Ghanaians to disregard whatever he said because I didn't say anything concerning my brother," she stated.

According to Asantewaa, the disagreement between her and her former partner was unrelated to her brother, but he used the situation to publicly criticise her.

"Whatever the issue was between my man and I had nothing to do with him, but he had personal issues with me, picked on that and used it as an opportunity to say a lot of filthy things about me. He said I'm so irresponsible and I'm chasing clout, so I should stop all the foolish things that I'm doing," she shared.

She further explained that many people misunderstood the situation because the last public impression they had was that she and her brother were on good terms.

"I wouldn't have come live if Ghanaians knew that we are not cool. The last time they saw us, we were very cool and whatever you say, people will take it. He's not been part of my life for some time now, so he doesn't really know if I have parted ways with my partner or not," she noted.

Asantewaa admitted that although she intended to simply set the record straight, emotions overwhelmed her during the livestream.

"That was my main reason for coming live, but unfortunately, I got emotional and broke down into tears. I'm fine now and active," she said.

She also expressed gratitude to Okyeame Kwame for taking time to visit and encourage her during the difficult period.

"Thank you so much for coming. I'd really be surprised if someone had told me that you would come and see me. A lot of people are coming here to cheer me up but I didn't know Okyeame Kwame cares for me enough to come see me," she added.
