Ghanaian highlife musician Bisa Kdei has shared a hilarious phone conversation with a suspected Mobile Money (MoMo) fraudster who attempted to scam him but instead received an unexpected lesson from the singer.
In a video posted on his social media pages, Bisa Kdei is heard speaking directly to the caller, believed to be a MoMo scammer.
Instead of hanging up, the singer turned the tables and offered the caller some unsolicited advice.
Bisa Kdei pointed out two major mistakes the alleged fraudster made. First, he noted that using a phone number beginning with "023" makes it easier to be traced and arrested. Second, he said the caller's poor English would make it difficult for him to successfully deceive people.
The slip-up came when the caller attempted to mention Bisa Kdei's record label, Blacklegendary Music, but mistakenly pronounced it as "Blacklaundry."

"If you use a '023' number for fraud, it will be easier to identify and arrest you. You can't be into fraud and not speak good English. If you want to scam me successfully next time, improve your English," Bisa Kdei said.
During the conversation, the caller asked what Blacklegendary Music does. Bisa Kdei explained that the company is into music production. Upon hearing that, the caller remarked that the musician must have a lot of money.
The highlife musician jokingly agreed and told the caller that if he had spoken better English, he might have received something from him. However, because his "pitch" was so poor, the attempt failed.
The caller, however, disagreed, arguing that even if he had done everything properly, Bisa Kdei still would not have given him any money.
The remark left the musician laughing.
"We definitely have the money. If you had done it properly, we would have given you something. But unfortunately, it didn't go as planned for you," Bisa Kdei told the caller.
