We live in a country where even the senior-most members of the Nurses association issue out threats - ostensibly with the aim of causing harm to journalists if they dare attend any health facility in this country. One would have thought that the health worker who issued that threat would have been severely dealt with. But no, not in this country. The Ghana Health Service, the Ministry of Health and the normally vociferous Ghana Journalists Association as well as the govt itself have all kept mute about this matter and left this dangerous person roaming about on the loose in the health sector. There are many things that make we Africans look backward, stupid and unsafe. The gist of the above story is surely one of them.
