Simplistic. The main reason for these recurring floods is because of poor planning or the lack of one. What has the government Commission on Flooding done since it was put together? These floods did not just happen. The government talks about congestion in the Capital City and that it has plans in the works to move some agencies out of Accra. The government can move agencies out of Accra and the floods will still take place in years of heavy rains. Put real experts in charge of the that Commission instead of filling it with political lackeys with no technical or planning expertise and whose main agenda is to quietly loot government contracts.

relatives as John Mahama gave Odaw River
dredging to his brother Ibrahim Mahama who
did nothing. Every Good Government rests on
