Kwame Kese MAY have a point because some houses perceived to be built along waterways were pulled down in the past and the situation is getting worse. Why were gutters and drainages left uncovered in the first place? We claim to have Town and Planning departments within every assembly. Are they working? They go round painting "STOP WORK. PRODUCE PERMIT", only for the building to be completed after a special "PERMIT" in an envelope has been produced.

Government should dredge gutters and waterways yet he must not break anybody's house so if the house owner has built on the waterways the building should be there. Kwaw, don't you think you are contradicting yourself.

Don't act too smart, you have an opinion but it is only like your nose. Do your music and let other professionals do what they know best. You are either part of the solution or part of the problem.

I 100% agree with Kwaw kesse on this statement..the givt needs to slow down on the demolishing..the govt can demolish the whole of Accra and flooding will still occur..Accra is a flood prone are and needs proper drainage systems and not demolition of peoples buildings..they juts keep demolition buildings and the situation is getting worse..there are some places that are prone to flood and Accra is typical example..even in the USA, there are some towns and communities that get flooded every year..with all the technology and good drainage systems, some places in USA and Dubai floods every year..sanitation is one thing that’s causing flooding..choked gutters and dirty environment but to be breaking down people’s buildings all in the name of flooding won’t solve the problem because Accra is a flood prone area

Building in water ways is one of the major causes of flooding in our cities. If you feel and build in water way, where do you expect the water to pass into major drains when it rains heavily?

You guys seem to forget about Cecilia Dapaah's loot. Millions were stacked under her bed and nothing happened to this corrupt moron. The money was meant for Accra's drainage and other things.
