When people who trust and love the Lord gather together in Church in Spiritual accord/agreement the Lord will be in their midst. Once those believers depart the Church building it remains just that - an empty concrete building just like all the others.There are thousands of Church ruins all over the world and many of these once upon a time had actively worshiping congregations several years or even several generations ago. Some of these churches fell into ruin because they were simply abandoned as the size of congregations dwindled and these buildings became derelict ( sadly this is a common sightin many European towns and cities) others were destroyed during the time of war or by the forces of nature (floods,earthquakes or fire) and were never rebuilt.
