Ghanaian actor, Mr Beautiful, has opened up about the cause of his failed marriage.

Speaking on Emelia Brobbey's talk show, Mr Beautiful revealed that, contrary to public perception, he was once married but is now divorced.

According to him, the collapse of the marriage began after he introduced a friend to his wife. He explained that the friendship eventually led to problems in the marriage.

Without going into full details, Mr Beautiful claimed that the person planted false ideas and misunderstandings in his marriage, which eventually led to the breakup. Due to the experience, he admitted that he has developed distrust toward Christians because the individual involved was a Christian.

“I befriended someone whom I introduced to my wife, and the two of them ended my marriage. The person is a Christian, and that has left me with a deep scar. I don’t trust Christians anymore; they are the most wicked people,” he said.

He added that he now trusts Muslims and people from the north more than Christians, stating that he is very cautious around them.

Despite the divorce, Mr Beautiful noted that he and his ex-wife still maintain a very close friendship.

According to him, they speak on the phone every day, often sharing jokes and laughing together. He revealed that they had already spoken twice on the morning before the interview.

“My wife and I are very good friends. We speak every day on the phone. We joke and laugh together. In fact, we have spoken twice this morning,” he said.

However, he made it clear that there is no possibility of them rekindling their relationship, stressing that the breakup was meant to happen.
